Change Introduction
This document lists the steps required to update the password in the Windows VPN client after a change to the user’s Windows account password.
Instructions
- In the search field on the Windows Task Bar, enter the phrase ‘VPN settings’ and press the Enter key.
- The VPN Settings window will be displayed. Click on the drop-down arrow to the right and click on the Advanced Options button.
- In the search field on the Windows Task Bar, enter the phrase ‘VPN settings’ and press the Enter key.
- The Connection properties window will be displayed. Scroll to the bottom of the window and enter the new Windows account password in the ‘Password (optional)’ field. (DO NOT EDIT THE FIELD NAMED PRE-SHARED KEY)
- Ensure the ‘Remember my sign-in info’ option is ticked and click on the Save button.
- Test connection to the remote office using the VPN in the normal manner.
