How to setup Emails on Android Phone

This guide uses a Samsung Galaxy as the example. Other Android phones will be very similar but are likely to have minor. Following this guide should allow you to set up emails on any Android phone.  If you have an iPhone or other Apple device then please look for our guide on how to ‘Set up email on an Apple device’.

You will be forced to add a 4 digit PIN code to secure your Galaxy phone.

1. Start email (applications, email)

2. Enter email address

3. Select manual config

4. Select Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync

5. Check the username.

6. Edit exchange server.

Andisa has two exchange servers – ‘exchange1.theservercloud.co.uk’ and ‘tsc-ex01.theservercloud.hosting’

Please contact us to find out which server you email are hosted on so that we can advise you which server to input.

Alternatively, try inputting one of the servers and continue to step 14. If you get an error then go back and change the server settings to the other server.

7. Tick “accept All SSL”

8. Click next

9. When the “Remote Security Admin” page appears then click Activate

10. Choose PIN

11. Enter a PIN (1234 as an example)

12. Confirm the same PIN (1234 as an example)

13. Click Done

14. Leave to sync
