One of the team asked if there was a more automated way to attach emails to our CRM.
The challenge is that when we email a client, we have a manual process to drag and drop the sent item into our CRM. When it happens, customer service improves because everyone can see the email chain easily. When its forgotten we all struggle.
The answer is an Outlook AddIn. This is a tiny program that can be added to Outlook to improve or add features. In ourcase we created one that checks the email subject for our CRM reference. If it doesn’t exist, it will add it to the subject.
It also saves the email to the CRM after sending. Hey presto, better customer service.
