- Click on your companies SharePoint Site in File Explorer.Â
- Browse to the file that you would like to share with someone.Â
- From the “OneDrive” menu, select “Share”Â
- Enter the email address of the person you would like to share the file with.Â
You can also add a short message if you like.Â
Finally, click “Send”.Â
- You will see confirmation that you have invited somebody to edit the document.Â
You can close that by clicking on the X at the top right.Â
- This is what the recipient will see.Â
They just need to click “Open”Â
- The file will then open on their computer.Â
They can now read and make changes to the document.Â
