Adobe PDF permission denied

Permission Denied when opening PDFs is caused when the latest reader software is used to open a PDF document created with older versions of creator. You can resolve the problem by disabling enhanced security.

How to Fix:

  1. Click to ignore the error and then click Edit > Preferences.
  2. On the security tab there is a tick box “Enable Enhanced Security” – Untick this.
  3. Now click OK

You will now be able to open these documents.
