First Wireless transmitter being installed

This was the first day of work on the Panchamol internet service upgrade in Nepal. We are still waiting for WorldLink to install Fibre across the town of Syangia but mean time this is the first transmitter installed and tested.

Note the fancy bracket fabricated by the local welder in situ. He had to climb on the roof with a stick welder, balance on a wall with a 50 foot drop and weld to rebar. Rather him than me. I stayed firmly on terrafirma!

Here’s the view the other way. This is the start of the Annapurna range of mountains. The smaller hill on the left is the next hop.
