Andy Morrison

Managing Director & IT Guru

I’m MD of Andisa and have always been a techie. Officially I am MD of Andisa however I am also the lead “IT Guru”.

My title has been earned while helping install the Rural IT project we are involved in in Nepal. My belief is that IT providers have a responsibility to help other businesses grow by installing quality networks and then working with customers to make sure the network grows with them. If you ever contact any of our customers I am sure they would back that up about our service.

My training is as an Electronics Engineer and more recently I have worked through the MikroTik Certification – MTCNA. MTCWE and MTCRE.

I’ ve also passed and practiced  Prince II project management, too many  server accreditations to list and presented at the MikroTik User Meeting in Kathmandu!

During 2016-17 I was President of Harrogate Brigantes Rotary Club. Look at our Corporate Social Responsibility page for details of projects we get involved with.
My biggest challenge in Rotary was successfully raising £85k and then bringing 40 students plus teachers across from Nepal, to perform in our own concert with 350 kids on stage! That was a big project to plan, manage, coordinate….

I am proud to be surrounded by customers who have very similar beliefs and thank them for their continued partnership. If you want to be part of this ethos then get in touch!

Jayne Morrison

Company Secretary

Jayne is Company Secretary and co founder of Andisa. She is responsible for keeping the office running smoothly and also for getting the rest of the team on site on time (not always an easy task but she reckons that she’s qualified for the task because she is mother of three Andy clones!)

Q. What’s it like working with family?
A
. Annoying but we get the job done and the clients systems are always working reliably. Andy and Paolo have a real passion to make sure that we have a focus on keeping our clients systems 100%.

Q. What do you do out side of Andisa?
A
. I’m Tawny Owl for 11th Harrogate Brownies, Treasurer for 15th Harrogate Scouts and sing in the St Paul’s Church Choir. It keeps me busy but its great fun.

Q. Wow do you have time for personal hobbies?
A.
I ice cakes to relax, although Andy would say it increases stress when I’m there at midnight the night before a big familly party, still putting the marzipan on.

Kate Grassie

Finance and Admin

Kate  joined us nearly a year ago and made an immediate difference to us. Kate’s background is credit control and her role is to run invoicing, credit control and office admin for us, however  she is also a “customer service champion”. She has introduced an approach to keep invoicing and customer expectations easy to manage. Kate is starting right at the beginning by making sure the consultants specify the deliverables in a easy to understand, measurable way .
It means we all understand when invoices and admin is expected and that the client expects the paperwork at the end of the job. – no surprises and a smooth life.
In fact things are so smooth that Kate only needs to work 10 till 2 each day. A lady after my own heart.

Kate is married an has two children – one born through the lockdown. Its obvious that she values the time she had with them through the time. Now she is running Marathons to keep fit. – our very own “super hero”.

Paolo Medori

Senior IT Consultant & Team Leader

Paolo has worked for Andisa for 8 years and together with Andy and Callum makes up the technical workforce. Outside of work he loves snowboarding, playing video games and cooking. One day he’s hoping to be fit enough to enjoy playing football for real as well as Fifa 2021.

His family run a local Italian restaurant called “Louigi’s”. He has learnt his client skills and patience working as a chef and waiter before starting a career in IT.

Paolo joined Andisa after leaving the 3rd largest nationwide insurance broker where he provided desktop and server support.

Recently Paolo has previously studied the Microsoft server 2012 MCSE training and has just topped up with the Server 2016 & 19 courses to make sure he is up to date before Microsoft restructure their training in 2021.

He also successfully studied for his Mikrotik Router Certified Network Associate training and is ladder and harness certified. We often get involved in high work on roofs and tall buildings when we install Wi-Fi equipment

Paolo passed his MCP Networking with Server 2016

Callum Morrison

Quality review

Callum is self motivated and eager to learn. He just wants to fix it and make sure the customer is happy.

He works from Wales and he designed our phone system to work smoothly with people all around the country.

Callum has recently started his own business that provides Mental First Aid training to businesses. We are really proud of his transition to business owner and are supporting him.

On a monthly basis he still checks all tickets to make sure that we are delivering as we promised, and to see if you have changing needs that mean we have to adapt. That means he makes a real difference because he keeps our offering tuned to your needs!
I’m afraid that clients probably wont speak with him directly but if you want a call, contact our helpdesk who will be happy to arrange a call back from him.

While working for Andisa full time he passed his ITiL Foundation certification, proving that he understands how Support, Projects and customer service all need to work together to give good outcomes.
