Andy has been recruited by Harrogate Brigantes (The evening Rotary Club of Harrogate) to help with a project in Nepal.
The aim of the trip is to deliver 10 laptops to two schools, set up two IT suites and then train the teaching staff to teach IT as part of the curriculum. We are providing a number of laptops and a server at each school.
There are numerous problems to overcome, from only having power for 30% of the day through to transport and customs when carrying large numbers of computers.
The team will travel to Nepal in February 2011, spending 3 weeks with Nepalese families.
