Automatic Monitoring for your network
We have recently added network monitoring to our contracts. We can also provide this as a standalone service.
Our automatic monitoring system will check your network every 5 minutes for problems.
It can check servers, PC's, Printers, disk space, critical services, network connection, broadband, email servers, web sites, in fact almost anything that is connected to a network. If it detects a fault then we recieve an email or TEXT.
So imagine this.
Its 8:30am. You get a powercut. Nothing is working, even the phone system is dead.
How do you get in touch with your support desk to ask for help?!?
Well this week one of our clients experienced the same problem.
We got a series of texts warning that the VoIP telephone system was not functioning, that the broadband line was disconnected and that the server was unreachable.
We worked out that there had been a powercut and that its duration was too long for the battery backup to survive.
After a quick phone call to the clients mobile, the system was operational again.
It was running without the client having to call us!!!!
It was running before the start of business and before the problem could affect our clients business!
